Director, Content Strategy
DIRECTOR, CONTENT STRATEGY The Director, Content Strategy will function as an organizational champion for planning, creating and selling the strategic value of content programs at Imagination. In collaboration with the VP, Content Strategy, the Director will work with clients, new business development and cross-channel content teams to develop actionable market insight and strategic content plans. The Director, Content Strategy will translate creative vision, research insights and client needs into compelling, executable programs and campaigns that meet client business objectives and maximize ROI. The Director, Content Strategy has a strong digital IQ and is well versed in website taxonomy, content structure, SEO, digital metrics, social listening tools and content distribution platforms. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic presenter capable of leading meetings with clients, external partners and internal teams, and motivating, inspiring and creating excitement about Imagination content strategies.The right person will be a creative strategist with integrated marketing and B2B experience who is passionate about researching and creating integrated content strategies across platforms. This person can maintain a big picture view of projects yet is extremely organized and detail oriented. Experience in designing and managing lead generation and lead nurturing programs a plus.Specific responsibilities include:-Lead internal teams in creation and optimization of B2B content strategies, and present program ideas at internal and external meetings.-Assist with documenting and socializing Imagination's approach to content strategy, and lead training and development for the content department and other teams across the organization.-Research and create content strategies for new and existing clients, and present case studies and distribute learnings across the company.-Partner with the VP, Content Strategy to formulate strategies for the integration and deployment of content across multiple channels, including print, digital, broadcast and social media.-Identify opportunities for account growth through creation of new projects/deliverables and ways to meet the client's goals and objectives through the use of content. -Enforce standards of strategic excellence throughout the organization, ensuring content is strategically planned and created. This may include streamlining processes and procedures to optimize efficiency, improve communications and enhance quality. -Lead research and selection of tools and processes to improve steps in content strategy process and content workflow. -Provide strategic leadership and counsel to internal teams and client contacts in the development, maintenance and growth of content programs for individual accounts. -Ensure that brand positioning and client value proposition are maintained throughout all content strategy components. -Work with VP Talent, Chief Content Officer and VP, Content Strategy to create and lead workshops and training opportunities in order to develop content team talent in strategic capabilities. -Assist VP, Content Strategy in developing and maintaining a high-performance, strategic content environment committed to on-time delivery of content, editorial/creative excellence and exceeding the client expectations. -Lead internal communications with respect to client presentations and successful content strategies, and establish performance against internal and external benchmarks. -Lead audience research, audits, competitive analysis and development of target personas. -Collaborate with internal metrics and analytics team members to draw actionable insights and make client recommendations based on metrics reports.*Imagination is an EOE.
