Your tasks
The Account Development Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the after-sales activities in the academic North America region(s) that is assigned to them. These activities include customer engagement via in-person visits, virtual meetings, discovery audits, usage reviews, training, etc. This person will work directly with the sales colleagues in their region in the creation and management of usage datasheets as well as consistent usage monitoring for all accounts. The specialist will also provide customer care to key accounts and liaise with other internal departments including eProducts, discovery services and IT.

Specific responsibilities include:
-Prepare the annual Account Development Plan for region in conjunction with licensing managers.
-Develop and conduct customer focused training programs, to promote customer satisfaction and usage resulting in renewal and revenue growth.
-Provide post-sales customer support for products and feedback to licensing managers and eProduct managers.
-Conduct analyses and monitor usage statistics to evaluate and develop strategies to increase value.
-Implement on and offline marketing campaigns to promote usage, as needed.
-Enhance visibility of company in the marketplace through regional trade shows and conferences.
-Participate in customer programs such as summits, executive sponsor programs, road shows, account reviews and product/implementation training.
-Deploy direct marketing efforts to generate leads for product trials and proposals.
-Participate in the sales and marketing teams' regular meetings.
-Manage customer relation management tool (SAP) as it pertains to account development activities.

Our requirements
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
-Experience within library/information service industry, as well marketing.
-Possess excellent Grammar and English skills.
-40% travel required.
-Creative, organized and exhibit initiative.
-Demonstrated ability to interact with other functional groups and gain cooperation from others.
-Good task management communication skills; experience with public speaking in both internal and external environments.
-Thorough, detail and completion oriented; able to manage several projects simultaneous.
-Motivated to become a company expert in how the Account Development works and must either possess or be eager to obtain the required knowledge.
-Use independent judgment to modify procedures to solve problems.
