ADWEEK seeks an experienced research marketer with proven track record for formulating compelling stories through media metrics. Role is responsible for growing the research function and developing insights to support and propel the Integrated Marketing Department. This position requires a continuous, big picture understanding of the media landscape, with expertise in analytics across multiple channels. Role reports directly to the head of Integrated Marketing.

-Ability to analyze and interpret complex sets of data and information and turn into actionable insights
-Responsible for the regular and ongoing development of research stories for key stakeholders (Marketing, Sales and Senior Management)
-Champion research and insights, with the ability to speak to and display complex data/information with ease and understanding
-Understand how to use research to explain not only WHAT matters but WHY it matters
-High level of media fluency and understanding of publishing and its impact in the larger landscape
-Possess a curiosity around what drives interest, behavior and the convergence between advertisers and brands
-Develop and manage both quantitative and qualitative research studies, from study design and concept to execution and analysis
-Experience with research proposal writing, questionnaire development, data analysis/interpretation, reporting, and client presentations

Desired Skills, Experience and Education:
-The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience applying innovative research techniques to business development, account planning and/or marketing strategy development.
-Outstanding written and verbal communications and presentation skills a must
-Ability to work with large amounts of data in an organized, detail-oriented manner and within tight deadlines
-Desire to go beyond project-specific work, be creative, and bring new ideas to the table to improve the overall data management and analytics process
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; Excel, PowerPoint and Word
-Strong knowledge of reporting tools including:
-MRI, Scarborough and BPA
-Digital reporting tools such as Omniture and ComScore
-Mobile (IOS, Android, Windows, etc.) and social media measurement platforms (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, YouTube Content Management, Klout, Twitter, etc.)
-Interest and appreciation for being part of a growing team that works collaboratively with an inherent desire to over-achieve
-Graduate Degree Preferred
