Candidate requirements:
*Must be enthusiastic and self-motivated to work on multiple accounts
*Must have hospitality PR experience, preferably in the hotel sector
*Must have press contacts at local and national publications, blogs & broadcast outlets
*Must possess an understanding for new hotel launches and the strategy required
*Must be a creative and strategic thinker who can offer suggestions for partnerships and promotions relating to fashion, music, design and entertainment
*Candidate will attend/lead client meetings, so must have clear communication skills
*Must be detail oriented and have impeccable writing, phone and media relations skills
*Must work well in a team environment

Responsibilities include:
*Active pitching to all media outlets
*Feature story strategizing and pitching
*Event planning and execution
*Writing press releases, pitches and media alerts
*The willingness to plan and attend events & coordinate press attendance
*Serving as daily contact with media and clients
*Cultivating and maintaining media relationships
*Generating weekly/monthly reports and activity recaps
*Managing daily activity for yourself and the Account Coordinator
*Work on strategic planning and client initiatives
*Internet research
