Your tasks
Reporting to the Director of Marketing for Crown Trade, this position is responsible for bringing Crown, Hogarth, and Broadway publications to the largest possible readership through innovative consumer-facing marketing campaigns.

-Works closely with the Marketing Director to create, communicate, and implement marketing campaigns for a variety of titles, focusing on both literary and commercial fiction
-Collaborates directly with authors and agents to explain, refine, and enact marketing plans, including traditional print advertising, online and social media promotions, and out of the box
-Thinks deeply about available audiences for each book that we publish and ways to reach them through advertising and promotion
-Flexibly manages book promotion plans and budgets that grow and change over time
-Creates title-specific marketing campaigns for upcoming publications as well as titles currently in the marketplace
-Actively participates in, Crown-s online reading group community, by coordinating author chats, giveaways, and content, as well as contributing original blog posts and other content as needed

Our requirements
Essential Abilities
-3-5 years minimum experience in book publishing, particularly with both literary and commercial fiction
-Fluency in key marketing concepts and tools including email, social media marketing, search, as well as traditional book marketing methods
-Strategic and creative thinking
-Excellent communication and presentation skills
-Quick and sharp reading skills
