ALM is seeking a Marketing Manager to help develop and execute marketing plans targeted to the small law firm segment. The ideal candidate has a product marketing background, with the skills to help develop detailed marketing plans for a range of products targeted to the segment, and organizational skills the tactical execution. The successful candidate must be team oriented and able to work with cross-functional teams while handling multiple priorities.

*Assist in the development of marketing plans to drive acquisition of new clients through email, digital, direct mail and print advertising efforts to achieve sales goals.
*Establish metrics of success, continually track results, and take action to improve results with future campaigns.
*Understand the needs the small law firm segment, and be able to develop marketing campaigns with solutions to meet those needs through individual and bundled product sets. Responsible for the integrating customer insights into marketing messaging.
*Support a Sales team with materials including sell sheets, media kits, and presentations. Ability to use research data to tell a compelling sales story required.
*Manage the tactical execution of marketing plans including online and offline ad development, development of creative brief, manage insertion orders, tracking of leads, etc.
*Support the sales team at select industry trade shows and seminars to reach target customers.
*Assist with marketing/sales support for existing clients.

*2+ years of marketing experience required. Experience in legal marketing, publishing, BtoB media, professional services, or digital marketing a plus
*Bachelor degree required.
*Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with Email platforms, databases, social media platforms, CRM systems, online survey tools, and CMS systems is a plus.
*Strong written and verbal communication skills.
*Comfort with expenses and budgeting.
*Poised, results-driven, flexible professional with a passion for marketing.
*Creative, solution-oriented, self starter who works equally effectively as a leader or team member.
*Able to think strategically and expertly execute the tactical.
*Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated tact and diplomacy and the ability to communicate effectively up, down and laterally within the organization. Customer service orientation required with all internal and external clients.
*Can establish clear priorities, meet deadlines and remain laser focused on the goal in an environment of change.
*Positive, can-do attitude combined with flexibility is a winning combination for this role.
