Job Responsibilities:

Hands on leadership of the day-to-day operation and development process for InvestmentNews and
Responsible for editing stories and leading a team of beat reporters
Expected to take ownership of developing and posting online content to accompany special reports and editorial projects that appear in print and online.
Solicit contributions from third parties for columns, blogs and newsletters
Plan and moderate webcasts under the direction of Deputy Editor
Responsible for gathering content for and assembling weekly and monthly newsletters
Responsible for daily editing and posting stories for and help assemble a e-mail to readers featuring key content.
Participate in the development of ancillary content, including a bi-weekly Continuing Education quiz based on stories posted on

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communication or related field
solid journalism background, including 8-10 years of projects editor experience
previous management experience preferred
must be highly detail oriented and able to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
