Job Summary
This position reports to the Executive Vice-President of Production and is based in the Los Angeles office. At least 4-5 years experience in the entertainment industry is required. The Development Executive is an integral part of the Development and Production team, participating in the creation and development of innovative unscripted series for broadcast, cable networks and digital media. From writing treatments and decks to producing sizzle reels and online segments, the Development Executive will support every stage of conception to final delivery. This position is full time and offers a competitive salary with benefits.

Job Qualifications
•4-5 years of experience in development and production (agency level or freelance)
•Strong development, show creation and producing skills
•Interest and appreciation for reality television is a must
•Superb written, verbal, interpersonal communication skills. Strong aptitude in research.
•Must be a self-starter with strong leadership, motivational skills and demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
•Ability to multi-task while prioritizing projects and time as needed
•Experience handling multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
•Strong budgeting experience for all types of formats and cities
•Must have a can-do positive attitude
•Experience working with high level talent
•Excellent organization and detail-oriented skills
•Must be interested in fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands and up to date with online publications and blogs in those areas
•1-2 years experience working on and producing content for a digital property preferred. Branded content experience a major plus.
•Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.)
•Computer literacy and database aptitude a must, knowledge of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Movie Magic Budgeting. Knowledge of Photoshop, Content Management Systems and Social Media a plus.
•Web Producer (Video and Editorial) experience a plus
•Willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed
•Some travel required

Duties and Responsibilities
•Support creation and conceptualization of original series ideas and concepts that are in line with network, sponsor and Full Picture’s specific development needs
•Maintain timeline of approvals needed to move forward with projects – both internal and with talent
•Participate in brainstorm sessions to generate new show ideas
•Identify trends in pop culture and new formats in the television marketplace
•Coordinate production and casting for all projects
•Compile and organize research for all active projects
•Media coverage – Identify articles of interest in broadcast and print media publications for both domestic and international markets (‘Articles of Interest’ include any stories you think may spark a reality show idea).
•Support execution of projects’ development materials, this includes: research and review for final treatments, pitch reels, budgets, production schedules and other development items
•Attend pitch meetings, agency calls and talent scouts
•Oversee development slate and track status of all projects
•Expand and cultivate relationships with creative contacts: agents, directors, hosts and editors to increase our database and establish new business opportunities
•Effectively utilize Full Picture contacts and resources in all areas of development
•Direct teams responsible for content development and production – editorial, production and post-production teams
•As needed, work closely with assistants and interns on administrative tasks

Leadership Responsibilities
•Oversees the creation and maintenance of systems, procedures, grids, decks, contacts and other lists and tools that are utilized by the division
•Mentor and supervise Associate Account Executive and Interns
