Responsibilities include:•Creating and managing the editorial calendar•Designing the editorial content for each issue with input from senior management and the editorial advisory board•Obtaining articles and other contributions from “name brand” authors, scientists, columnists, celebrities and business people•Supervising section and contributing editors•Ensuring editorial content is delivered on time and meets the high standards of the publication•Managing the Editorial Budget•Working with the design team to effectively present content•Working with the website management team to produce and procure content for the web•Developing content/article ideas•Identifying and acquiring appropriate existing content to enhance/enrich web user experience •Commissioning articles through freelance writersRequirements•5+ years as a senior editor, managing editor or Editor in Chief for a nationally distributed, paid circulation magazine•3+ years experience managing content development for online •Minimum total 5+ years of experience in marketing, public relations or publishing •Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills, including grammar•Extensive experience as a content developer and editor•3+ years experience managing of freelance and contract resources a must•A passion for personal development•Excellent interview skills•Experience dealing with high-profile personalities a plus •Computer proficient (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) •Must be able to effectively handle the daily details of multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining a view of the larger picture •Candidate must demonstrate high level of integrity, applied analytical skills and professional maturity. •Excellent team building and leadership skills •Must lead by example and exemplify the Success Partners principles and passport •Four year degree from an accredited institution preferably in marketing or journalism. **SALARY REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED TO GET A RESPONSE.
