Development Associate, Donor Communications/Design
Qualifications include Bachelor's degree in Graphic Arts, Marketing, or a related field and 1-2 years experience in a graphic design role. Candidate should be a conceptual thinker and skilled designer with a strong portfolio of verbal and visual communications skills. Detail-oriented and adheres to a high standard of work; ability to constructively receive and integrate feedback to produce a finished product. Confident working within a team and across departments at all levels of the organization; excels in both collaborative and independent settings. In addition, candidate should have a keen eye for detail and ability to handle multiple projects under deadline pressure. Nonprofit experience and in interest in conservation and fundraising preferred. Technical requirements include proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop. Experience with Prezi is a plus. Proficiency with PC-based OS and applications: Microsoft Windows 7; Microsoft Office, especially Powerpoint and Publisher. Position demands full time usage of a PC operating system. Candidate should have knowledge of design theory and principles, either from previous professional experience or academic study with familiarity with Raiser's Edge (or similar database) a plus.
