IMDb seeks an experienced software development manager to lead key elements of our growing Mobile and Revenue teams. As a technical leader, you'll have direct ownership of large parts of the IMDb business as we continue to delight our customers with our Mobile experience. You'll also be a key contributor to continue to grow and expand on our new X-Ray For Movies - powered by IMDb. If you love big data, platform infrastructure and Mobile features used by millions and millions of customers, this is where you should be.

You'll also get to exercise your technical chops, guiding the development of distributed systems, and employing the latest Amazon Web Services technologies to handle the massive scale of our site.   • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
  • · 5+ years of experience as a software developer
  • · 5+ years' experience managing people
  • · Software development experience in OOP, Java, C++, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Linux/UNIX, XML

  • · Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • · Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with large scale highly available backend systems and/or websites
  • Experience with Mobile and/or Advertising development
  • A love of data analytics
  • Deep hands-on technical expertise
  • Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions
