Analyst - CRM
Summary:Dedicated analytical resource responsible for developing client/marketing reporting and analysis to drive increased marketing performance for Ann Taylor Factory Stores (ATFS) and LOFT Outlet Stores (LOS). Prepare and present marketing and client insights designed to strengthen business performance. Work with CRM Campaign Specialist to create and execute the client segmentation, client selection and data extraction for outbound direct marketing campaigns.Roles & Responsibilities Prepare weekly marketing reports on marketing results and impact on the business. Present findings at executive business meeting. Execute and assess the performance of promotional campaigns, with a focus on return on investment, for ATFS & LOS. Analyze response by segmentation/offer/format. Conduct ad-hoc analysis as it relates to current business needs. Partner with CRM Campaign Specialist to generate list segmentation for direct mail campaigns and ensure timely delivery of mailing lists to mail houses and data processing vendors. Assist with client insight research, through competitive research, database analysis and quant/qual surveys. Evaluate results and present findings to leadership team. Track and report on the behavior and journey of our clients over extended periods of time. Recommend marketing programs to increase client engagement. Partner with Credit Card team to execute targeted cardmember campaigns that build the loyalty and spend of our cardmembers. Assist in the creative development of engaging customer marketing materials, collaborating with print production and creative. Identify key industry trends impacting business (e.g Outlet malls, women’s apparel, etc) and translate into strategic recommendations to capitalize on business opportunities. Partner with other departments/divisions to share learnings and insights.Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years professional analytical experience (retail, hospitality, travel, etc). High degree of proficiency with SAS Enterprise Guide (EG) in conducting analysis. Must be able to either write SAS/BASE code in EG or use EG GUI. Experience with Proc SQL for SAS is a benefit. Automate recurring reports and/or projects using macros in SAS Familiarity with relational databases and experience with handling large data sets Competent skills with Microsoft Access, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to contextualize quantitative and qualitative findings and use them to develop efficient, innovative, and profitable go forward strategies. Must be able to present findings to management. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. The candidate should be a self-starter who is equally capable of working independently AND working well in a team environment in cross-functional groups. Strong interest in retail marketing and branding, with an eye for fashion. Good communication skills that allow for healthy discussions and relationship building. Able to multi-task in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment. Must be deadline oriented and take full ownership of responsibilities. Professional demeanor (with a fun, collaborative attitude).
