The Job:

  • Drive flawless execution of all experiential programs: events, pr stunts, guerilla and grassroots initiatives

  • Develop and manage partnerships that range from schools/universities to brands for projects that focus on product launches to general brand efforts

  • Collaborate closely with others in the Quirky Marketing matrix including, but not limited to Digital/Social Media, Retail, Advertising and PR in order to develop compelling buzz-worthy brand experiences, which drive brand value, increase revenue, and support the Quirky story.

  • The Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage targeted events, guerilla, grassroots projects and promotions

  • Identify relevant partnerships based on Quirky objectives, develop and manage those activations

  • Manage project deliverables including timelines, logistics, budgets, communication and any other needs for events and partnerships

  • Work with a cross-functional team in the development of all projects including digital, PR, consumer promotions, product and community

  • Act as brand lead for experiential marketing programs, collaborating with the Retail Team to develop retail programs that are consistent with overall Quirky marketing strategies, consumer target and brand positioning

  • Function as a liaison with partners, vendors and agencies, and ensure all project elements are timely, accurate and cost-effective

  • Build relationships with all key internal cross-functional partners including Digital/Social Media, Design, Community, Advertising, PR, Sales and Legal, in order to effectively execute cohesive, holistic, consumer-facing projects

  • The Qualifications:

  • 6+ years event / experiential marketing, promotional and brand-building experience in non-traditional marketing organizations, preferably on image-focused brands (background in lifestyle brand(s) preferred)

  • You are an executional guru and love creating and managing events (pr stunts, retail activations), grassroots (college), partnership programs (working with brands large and small) and social media

  • You are a creative/strategic thinker with experience in brainstorming and implementing strategic marketing programs

  • You have deep experience in executing successful consumer experiential projects across multiple consumer touch-points

  • You are versatile and comfortable working on multiple projects at once that vary in size and timing

  • You possess excellent communication, project management, and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple, simultaneous priorities

  • You have the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, non-process oriented environment

  • You are detail-oriented, highly organized and can bring discipline to the existing team

  • You are confident, can articulate a point of view, and are transparent and fearless

  • You have an unrelenting intellectual curiosity and take pride in doing awesome work
