We are seeking a creative individual who will contribute new ideas and foster creativity in others to ensure the continual improvement and strengthening of Cablevision's brand and product offerings. The Copywriter is responsible for managing and spearheading the creative development and execution for all assigned campaigns/projects. He or she will ensure that all creative materials produced (any media) for a campaign/project supports the brand and product strategies. This person should be a creative leader, possess strong team-building skills and work in close partnership with the Creative Services team to develop innovative, effective marketing communications that are strategically sound, exciting and compelling.

- Minimum 5 years copywriting experience in all media. Direct marketing background a big plus, with experience in managing creative development for complete campaigns from start to finish. Should have a good graphic design sense.

- Understands intricacies of consumer message when translated to different media.

- Understands creative implications on marketing and marketing implications on creative.

- Bachelor's degree is preferred

Technical/Functional Competencies
- Writing experience in all media including direct mail, print, TV, radio, outdoor, web and interactive. Experience with social media content a plus.

- Able to lead the team in providing the most effective and efficient creative solution.

- Strong computer skills a must (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Excellent grammar and proofing skills.

- Experience with marketing and advertising, including the conceptualizing and development of campaigns.

- Demonstrated ability to disaggregate and analyze problems, to probe facts, identify and question assumptions and analyze issues from different perspectives to inform decision-making processes.

- Strong communication skills (both oral and written) and a team player who can build consensus across multiple constituencies
