The Role
Bloomberg Multimedia is seeking an application support analyst to provide business application support to end users of our Dealmaker Crossroads Media Traffic system. Day to day activities will include: deal, media, structure, format, and event setup, configuration, how-to questions and defect tracking. This position is fully dedicated to the in-house support of the Dealmaker
Crossroads system globally. The system is currently installed and fully operational in the North America and going live internationally in Q2. The ideal candidate will interact with internal users as well as the software vendor with a focus on workflow, performance, and functional operation of using the software. The role also requires continued growth in skill-set to match DMC system growth and evolving user business requirements. High attention to detail, ability to find lateral solutions, and meet Bloomberg standards will be key to success in the role as application support analyst. Candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate across teams and time zones while maintaining a timely accurate information flow and feedback to business units.

-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
-1+ years of recent and relevant experience in broadcast or cable traffic & ad sales systems required.
-Previous experience with Deal Maker or Crossroads systems is a plus.
-Proven track record of recent and relevant experience in an application support role, such as a software support help desk.
-Highly driven and self-motivated individual
-Strong problem solving and analysis skills
-Strong Microsoft Office Application suite and Desktop tools skills
-Strong communication and organizational skills
-Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast moving environment
-Flexibility with schedule and hours to meet business needs
