The Role:
Are you the right person to join the content team on an innovative, long-term wealth management service at Bloomberg?
-You've been successful in writing (simply, smartly) on finance, financial planning or related topics.
-You've had experience in social media and leveraging the power of it to make a difference for the business you supported.
-You innovate, you're bold, and you want to try things when there's a strong case for a new approach.
-You pay attention to detail, you follow-through on ideas all the way to project execution and assessment.
-You're not scared of change, you're comfortable learning new procedures and technologies, even when they're tiresome.
-You play well within a team, collaborate effectively with other groups and can multi-task without panic.
-You understand hard work, particularly the kind that comes when a product or service is in the early-build stage and you need to work quickly and independently.
-You're always learning, particularly from clients and feedback. You value their voice and seek to deliver a good result.
- You've worked on or want to know more about 'big data' issues, personalization of content and experience.

You'll be joining a team of 5 people where the message is the key. You'd be writing on finance or editing commentary pieces, you'd be curating the right stories from the Bloomberg universe that are best suited to the client, producing special editorial copy, scripts for video or radio, and managing the content on the website and the blog. This is besides the constant, close collaboration with R&D, the financial strategists, marketing, web developers, user experience analysts, statistical analysts, SEO tracking experts and the client service team.

Qualifications
-A Bachelor's degree or higher.
-5+ years of overall experience.
-Experience in writing and editing in finance or financial planning.
-Experience with and a passion for social media as a pathway to build brand and voice.
-The successful candidate will come from a firm focused on financial services, media, or an agency.
