The Los Angeles office of GolinHarris is seeking a Social Media/Digital Senior Manager
The Social Media/Digital Senior Manager (Senior Account Supervisor) role is a key position within GolinHarris and is responsible for leading digital campaigns for several large and medium sized brands. Activities include product launches, corporate reputation management, social media endeavors and the coordination of major media and consumer events.
The Social Media/Digital Senior Manager serves as a vital connection to the greater GolinHarris clients and team. We're looking for a dedicated team member with a can-do attitude who will develop creative concepts and drive strategic digital initiatives. The role includes serving as the daily client go-to for conceptualizing and executing plans and managing multiple members of a top-notch team.

-Serve as a creative, analytical mind on the social media team and provide strategic digital ideas
-Lead development of creative concepts and drive the packaging and delivery of ideas to the client
-Develop comprehensive digital strategies that leverage power of creative digital and social communications to accomplish our client's objectives both for individuals brands, as well as their overall corporate messaging and reputation
-Provide creative strategy insights and produce compelling content online spanning paid, earned, and owned forms of digital media
-Identify cutting edge tools and techniques to help support business objectives, advance storytelling and drive engagement
-Serve as a key team contact for digital strategies and projects, oversee program budgets and timelines, manage internal and external support resources, including junior team members and third-party vendors
-Demonstrate strong understanding of social channels and identify emerging opportunities
-Demonstrate strong understanding of digital analytics and tools
-Write and review copy and messaging for social media engagement campaigns
-Coordinate social media programs with account teams as a part of campaigns
Desired Skills & Experience
-8+ years of general communications experience with at least five years of relevant and in-depth digital/social media communications
-Demonstrated proficiency in developing creative ideas and bringing them to life through storytelling and presentations
-Proven success in driving creative, integrated digital campaigns from concept to execution, to reporting
-Demonstrated strong knowledge of pop-culture and related emerging trends
-Experience with digital-specific advertising/paid media experience either on the account or planning side a big plus
-Experience developing multi-faceted digital and social media campaigns for clients including strategy development, execution, internal/client-side training, etc.
-Proven experience applying digital and social media knowledge to shape and amplify global brands' online personas
-Effective leadership and integration of cross-functional and cross-agency teams
-Strong brand measurement skills and understanding of online analytic tools (paid, earned, owned)
-Demonstrated experience managing digital production (apps, web videos, etc.) and paid media campaigns
-Deep understanding of a wide range of social media content management and publishing platforms
-Excellent writing, copy-editing and proof-reading skills
-Work well with a variety of key internal and external stakeholders
-Excel at verbal and written client, interpersonal and intra-team communications
-Manage, mentor and coach staff members consistently; establish performance goals and conduct reviews
-Familiarity with budgeting and budget management experience
