Tradeshift has an office in Copenhagen, San Francisco and London. We are hiring a East Coast-based Sales Engineer to join our global sales team, supporting our Account Executives in closing deals with F1000 Enterprises throughout the US.

Your Role

* Manage and prioritize sales opportunities; Respond quickly to RFPs, leveraging our value proposition
* Develop, present and deliver high-impact demonstrations of the Tradeshift platform to current and prospective clients
* Gather and document customer requirements, understanding their business needs and IT plans
* Work with product managers to scope projects and complete risk analysis, along with defining our enterprise blueprint and roadmap
* Maintain a deep understanding of our product and industry along with an awareness of the competitive landscape
* Craft messaging for the sales team to use in marketing presentations and collateral
* Support and drive the team's sales cycles through pre-sales activities, from initial contact to project completion
* Manage a smooth handover process from Sales to Delivery and lend support to our Delivery team in the initial stage of the process
* An understanding of software development lifecycle and experienced in collaborating with engineering to bring new products to market
Your Profile

* 3-5 + years in a comparable Sales Engineer position supporting the sales cycle for enterprise deals in CRM, ERP and Ecommerce applications
* Experience with financial application package and thorough understanding of accounting principles
* Previous application experience in one or more of the following desired:
* SAP, Oracle e-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, Epicor, Great Plains, AccPac, Best Software-MAS Series, Sales Logix, Siebel or Salesforce.com
* Ability to think strategically about how to evolve our solution to remain competitive
* Deep understanding of Procure to Pay with a rich knowledge of how the Accounts Payable processes function
* Experience with cloud computing and enterprise sales, and the importance of applying each within large corporations
* Enjoy the turbulence that comes with a lean and agile team staying competitive in a well-developed area of enterprise sales
* Comfortable with the following platforms: Salesforce.com, Macs, MS Office, Dropbox, Google Docs
* Personable and highly consultative individual
