Senior Corporate Marketing Manager-Western Region

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting into the Executive Director, Marketing and Business Development, the Senior Corporate Marketing Manager is responsible for managing and supporting regional marketing and new business development activities in the assigned region, coordinating multi-office initiatives and providing day-to-day support for regional and local level activities.

Business Development Responsibilities
*Develop and respond to RFPs/requests for credentials. This includes, but is not limited to:
*Design and development of responses and credentials
*Sourcing case studies, bios and other assets (client logos, imagery, etc.)
*Coordinating and maintain up-to-date bios for all staff members in region
*Support pitch teams with any and all meeting logistics and materials
*Promote local / regional thought leadership by researching and identifying opportunities for GH to speak/participate and securing GH experts/thought leaders
*Attend local industry/networking events as appropriate
*Share best practices within and across regions and with corporate marketing
*Update and maintain PULSE

Marketing Responsibilities
*Manage local marketing and PR events
oResearch and recommend local and regional industry events for sponsorship, attendance and speaking opportunities and oversee delivery of events plan
*Regional/local media relations
*Produce and distribute news releases on new accounts, new campaigns, new employees and employee promotions at local and regional level; coordinates distribution with corporate marketing at national/international level
*Champion award submissions
*Champion local offices submissions to local and national industry awards competion; identify award opportunities, possible entries; provide editing, writing and entry support, as appropriate.
*Share best practices with corporate marketing and across region
*Coordinate production of local/regional promotional material such as advertising, collateral and credentials, factsheets, case studies etc., under the guidance of corporate marketing
*Act as local GH brand champion. Remain up to date on the latest global policies, brand guidelines and procedures and flag any possible areas of question.
*Support development of ad hoc projects for senior management.

Qualifications
*College/University degree
*At least 5-7 years' experience in a marketing, PR or communications related role
*Excellent written and verbal skills
*Self-motivated and highly organized
*Competency using Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
*Production/design skills an advantage
