Your tasks
The Library Channel Marketing Specialist works in partnership with the VP of Latin America Sales and the Director of Channel Marketing and Account Development - Americas to increase channel sales, by creating interest and demand for Springer?s eProducts through direct marketing, lead generation and event marketing. In addition, the specialist is responsible for all the generation and maintenance of sales collateral, advertising, direct mail, and website. This position is responsible for preparing a detailed annual budget for the Latin America region and for tracking and maintaining the budget. Specific responsibilities include:

- Prepare the annual Channel Marketing Plan.
- Manage conferences, trade show and speaking schedule.
- Manage lead generation/direct marketing campaigns via email, advertising, telemarketing and direct mail.
- Manage localized sales collateral program.
- Manage customer programs including, Library Advisory Board, Library Summits and Seminars.
- Track lead generation and ROI for designated marketing campaigns via SAP CRM on a monthly basis.
- Manage marketing project database.
- Manage SAP CRM as it pertains to marketing activities.
- Participate in the sales teams' regular meetings.
- Manages and reports on marketing activities and budget.
- Develop, write and implement market strategies in close cooperation with the Academic and Government Library Marketing Staff, including Sales where appropriate.
- Develop marketing communication plans in cooperation with the product manager/marketing specialist.
- Manage eProduct Trial Process and campaigns.
- Manage and provide creative input for the various library related pages on springer.com.

Our requirements
- Possess excellent spoken and written knowledge in English and Spanish (Portuguese a plus).
- BA in marketing or communications required, along with 2 to 5 years proven experience in operational and strategic marketing in a business to business environment is preferred.
- Experience in MarCom, direct marketing, and online media are preferred.
- Willing to travel extensively (minimum 3 months a year).
- Library marketing experience preferred (but not required).
- Working with sales organizations preferred.
