As the product lead for Food.com, you'll be part of the digital product development organization and a member of the team responsible for driving digital product development. Product leads at Scripps work hand-in-hand with internal and external partners and vendors to continually evaluate and evolve Scripps' product offerings across multiple platforms and devices. Our focus is growing Scripps' digital business by building products that drive revenue and improve user experience. How do we do it? Through research, ideation, and collaborative and iterative product development. To succeed, you'll need to understand the market, its challenges and its opportunities. You'll help lead the definition and execution of the product vision and strategy for Food.com, leveraging your unique vantage point straddling business, content, and technology. You'll be responsible for defining roadmaps, product requirements and business impact. In return, you'll be part of the team that is evolving the digital presence of this leading UGC brand. Required Skills and Experience: - Proven ability to succeed individually. As part of a team. When leading a team. Preferably within a matrixed organization. - Ability to work and think critically and creatively, at both the big-picture and little-detail levels. - A track record of delivering quality products, while managing multiple projects, priorities and personalities. - Experience working with Agile teams, building and iterating upon minimum viable consumer-facing products. - Demonstrated experience and an affinity for leveraging research and data as part of your decision-making process. - Experience with lifestyle-oriented and/or food-category brands is a definite plus. Responsibilities: - Define the product strategy for Food.com and lead the execution of the product roadmap. - Create and maintain product requirements, including the prioritization of features and functionality. - Define, track and learn from metrics of success. - Maintain an awareness of product, category and industry trends. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements - 7-10 years of digital media experience, including at least 5-7 years in product management, preferably with a consumer-facing media company. - Bachelor's degree in a related field, or at least in something interesting. MBA a plus.
