Associate Online Marketing Manager-Young Readers
Penguin's Young Readers Marketing department is seeking an Associate Online Marketing Manager to assist with the management of innovative online content and campaigns for our Young Readers imprints. This position will work with a wide range of online formats including (but not limited to) websites, social media, videos, widgets, and games!Specifically, the Associate Online Marketing Manager:1.Works with Associate Director of Online Marketing in the production of online content: websites, author videos, trailers, dedicated Facebook pages, ning, etc.2.Coordinates with Editorial, Marketing, and School & Library departments to develop content and build followers for Penguin Kids and Penguin Classroom Twitter and Facebook pages. 3.Serves as liaison between Penguin Young Readers and outside freelancers.4.Tracks and communicates all statistics and analysis regarding Facebook, websites, tumblr, and Twitter on a weekly basis.5.Handles content distribution and advertising through YouTube, Google Keyword search, and other channels.6.Forges relationships with content distribution networks and handles SEO optimization for all websites and digital content.7.Maintains knowledge of competition and trends and advances in digital, apps, websites, mobile, advertising, teen, pop culture, etc.Please apply to join us if you meet the following requirements:-4 year college degree or equivalent work experience-Minimum of 2 years experience working in digital marketing-Strong interest in and proven knowledge of digital platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, FourSquare, Instagram, and YouTube-Excellent written and verbal communication skills-Strong organizational skills-Strong writing and editing skillsPreferred qualifications:-Experience working with youth-related brands -Knowledge of digital analytics and SEO -Knowledge of Photoshop and Final Cut Pro-Familiarity with HTML-Knowledge of Skype, Spreecast, or other livestreaming platforms Please email your resume and cover letter with salary requirement to email@example.com indicating the position for which you are applying in the subject line.
