Sales & Business Development
This person will be selling Exhibits and Sponsorships for Life Science conferences. This person must have at least some background in Sales with a "hungry" personality. Must be self-motivated and willing to put time and research into any sale and/or client. This is an inside sales role (lots of phone and email work) with the occasional need to have a face-to-face meting with a potential client. Proposal writing is necessary, so good writing skills are important. Previous conference sales experience and knowledge of the Life Science Industry are a plus but definitely not required. Must know how to use Excel and Microsoft Word.**Hours: 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, in an office setting and have access to a computer and phone outside of the office. **This is a permanent, part-time role - please do not apply if you are looking for a temporary situation.**$20 hr/15% commission on Sales closedCover letter required with your resume. Salary $20 per hour + 15% commission on Sales closed (that is what "profit-share" means in this case).
