As a Sales Operations Associate, you will be responsible for helping to position Travelzoo as the premier media company serving the online travel industry. Your primary responsibility will be to work with the sales force in managing our database and aggregating competitive and analytical information to help the sales team with their clients and prospects. This position can be based in either San Francisco or Miami. This will involve the following:

* Managing the database which includes, account transfers and maintaining accurate, up to date and organized records
* Qualifying, distributing and tracking incoming and outgoing sales leads
* Monitoring the contracts process to ensure that clients are ready for publishing
* Drafting, proofreading and cleaning up presentations to address key marketing and sales objectives
* Carrying out business analysis and executive dashboard reports including analysis of revenue, sellout and forecast reports
* Helping on sales operations-related projects as they arise


We are looking for an enthusiastic sales associate professional with an attention to detail who enjoys working in a dynamic environment. Specifically, you should have:

* 3 years+ experience in a sales support role, ideally with a leading advertising/media agency
* 1 year+ experience with new media
* Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
* Good communicator with experience supporting teams in other departments and other geographic locations
* High attention to detail: a stickler for data consistency
* Solid analytic skills and ability to distill facts and numbers into insights and recommendations would be a plus
* Bachelors degree minimum
