We are currently seeking a Marketing Manager to support business development for our national Investor Services platform which includes Agency Leasing, Capital Markets and Property Management. The Marketing Manager develops the strategy behind our information through content development and management. The Marketing Manager partners with the Investor Services marketing team members, the corporate knowledge manager and the local markets to identify knowledge needs and translate them into actual deliverables, successfully positioning the Investor Services platform through a robust toolkit of proposal baseline content, sales deliverables, case studies and client testimonials and a comprehensive statistics database.

The individual in this position will report to the Vice President of Marketing and will oversee knowledge management initiatives for the group. The role will have geographic responsibility for the Americas and work closely and collaboratively with colleagues nationally and globally to create and leverage knowledge efforts. The position will also demand close collaboration with key business leaders and corporate knowledge management partners. This position supervises the Investor Marketing Coordinator, overseeing day-to-day responsibilities and overall career development.


• Partner closely with national Marketing Manager to share best practices and technologies through industry associations, peer group activities and networking with JLL marketing and business development staff across the firm.
• Implement governance plan for content and perform/oversee regular maintenance and continuous improvement of all content, ensuring maximum quality and usability—includes fixed information like statistics and more fluid platform messaging.
• Serve as subject matter expert for Investor Services, being poised to provide and develop information/content for stakeholders and marketers across the organization.
• Participate in select pitches to act as content expert and keep a pulse on client needs.
• Partner with research leads to develop relevant market insight content.
• Drive case study development.
• Have expert understanding of firm-wide goals, standards and programs for business line knowledge—developing, editing and terminating content as needed.
• Research and evaluate non-Investor Services JLL practices as well as competitor practices.
• Influence general knowledge sharing culture by engaging producing teams and developing knowledge sharing processes and programs that encourage learning, collaboration and empowerment (e.g. incentive programs, expert directory, organized learning, etc.).
• Create and put to practice consistent method of measuring effectiveness of KM initiatives (i.e. focus groups, surveys, etc.), engaging with key stakeholders to continuously evolve the KM vision to meet changing business needs.
• Deploy strategic internal communications to share tools and information with internal stakeholders.
• Manage sharing and organization of content on SharePoint-based content management system, ensuring maximum user accessibility and intuitive user experience.


Required skills
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in marketing/communications (preferably business-to-business).
• Expert writing abilities—skilled at writing clean, sales-driven marketing copy in a variety of voices while equally expert at developmental editing and copyediting.
• Expert project management skills, with ability to multi-task while still maintaining quality of work and meeting deadlines.
• Superior organization skills—proven ability to organize content according to user needs and management feasibility.
• Able to critically assess content quality and use with the drive for top-quality and uncompromising accuracy.
• Able to shift easily between strategic initiatives and tactical day-to-day responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to engage and interact effectively with management and employees at all levels.
• Strong leadership skills, with ability to work independently while inspiring and guiding colleagues.
• Strong analytical skills, solid judgment and decisiveness.
• Ability to work in a team environment and produce quality work independently.
• Independent thinker—assertive and proactive yet a strong team player.
• Strong research and problem solving skills.
• Strong computer skills—advanced knowledge Microsoft Office with working knowledge of SharePoint, Adobe Creative Suite.
• Commercial real estate background preferred
