Web Editor, Conde Nast Traveler

Conde Nast seeks a Web Editor for a full-time staff position.  
The web editor cultivates, manages, and edits a roster of digital contributors located around the world, helping to shape and develop their content and followings, and expand the reach of Condenasttraveler.com. The editor will have day-to-day responsibility for conceptualizing multimedia content (text, photo, video, etc.), editing copy, writing display (headlines, captions, etc.), SEO, and managing social media integration. Strong preference for candidates with knowledge of the travel landscape.  
Primary Responsibilities
•Working with senior web editor, plan and curate a daily mix of content to ensure diverse and compelling coverage across geographies and subject matter
•Liaise with contributors around the world, as well as in-house editors and writers, on content creation, development, and production
•Help with scouting for international talent
•Work with contributors to develop story ideas across platforms (web, social, print) and leveraging multiple media types (text, photo, video)
•Edit and SEO anywhere from 10 to 20 pieces of content a day
•Work with contributors to develop and deliver more ambitious editorial packages as required
•Manage contributors and assist them in social media outreach related to their contributions
•Develop and manage local/international contacts for outreach and promotion of content
•Top-edit junior editor(s)
•Create and submit lineups for review
•Assist with article production as necessary
•Help train new contributors in CMS, SEO, etc.
•4+ years of digital editorial experience 
•1-2 years social media management experience 
•Experience managing large group of contributors
•Photoshop skills
•Basic video editing skills
•CMS skills
•SEO skills
•Basic HTML skills
•Knowledge of latest/emerging digital tools, platforms, etc.
