About the Role: Editor in Chief, Daily FinanceDaily Finance, Aol's personal finance brand, has an opening for an Editor In Chief. The ideal candidate is a digital native to oversee a team of writers focused on providing rich personal finance content along with curating the best in daily business news to a growing audience. The candidate should also have a background in writing about or overseeing personal finance coverage from budgeting, spending, saving as well as investing for a mainstream audience. Candidate should be well-versed in managing partner relationships with major news organizations to grow audiences. The Editor in chief also will be responsible for setting strategy and standards for custom content as well as maintaining a focus on original content. Candidate should have expertise in social media strategies and proven ability to grow audiences through socialnetworks. Candidate should be familiar with digital content management systems with proven ability to publish editorial work quickly and efficiently.Requirements:-Five to seven years experience in a digital news organization, including on-air experience or presenting commentary and news via video.-Proven ability in running a fast-paced digital newsroom focused on smart curation of business and personal finance news.-Skill at managing a team of young writers and editors focused on speed and quality.-Familiarity with custom content solutions and ability to work with other areas of publishing, including advertising and marketing.
