We are seeking a new team member to assist in our overall mission of promoting our world-class institution and help The International Culinary Center become the go-to social media source for anyone interested in culinary education and the food and wine industries. We desire to become the expert/leader in culinary related discussions on social media platforms.

The Multi-Media Producer for The International Culinary Center will become our ‘brand voice’ in the social mediums and is responsible for accomplishing our objectives by overseeing the social media strategy, developing the accompanying content and increasing the size and engagement of social audiences across multiple platforms.

Specific Roles and Responsibilities -

Develop, implement and execute an integrated social media strategy to achieve the company’s goals of growing social media audience, social engagement, and web traffic from social referral sources.

Execute on a daily basis social marketing programs and specific tactics across all major channels of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.).

Develop content for branded blog, websites, and social platforms across all mediums including editorial, video, and photography.

Work with multiple departments (marketing, pr, digital, and sales team) to support the brand through creating and promoting content that captures the everyday excitement occurring at our school. Additionally, create content to promote product launches and special events.

Strategize and report on communications and outreach campaigns.

Conduct outreach to blogs, websites, influencers and communities to expand social presence.

Identify, interpret, and implement (when applicable) social media trends.

Monitor the competition and be aware of market changes and developments.

Develop and manage relationships with key bloggers and social movers in the culinary and wine industry to increase The Center’s influence and reach.

Recommend new social media tools, sites, and applications as part of social media mix .


Skills:
Digital media enthusiast

Bachelor’s Degree

A minimum of three years experience in creating editorial content, managing social marketing programs and increasing the size of social audiences across platforms

Advanced knowledge and understanding of social media and networking platforms

Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization

Excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience in blogging a plus.

Understanding of analytics and social media monitoring tools

Self-starter, idea generator, highly motivated

Excellent ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment.

Efficient and able to work independently but also as part of a team

Experience on brands including food service, hospitality, luxury, and education a plus
