The Qualitative Research Manager is responsible for organizing and executing all qualitative research projects.

• Scheduling and managing logistics of ongoing qualitative research (e.g. focus groups, usability labs, in-depth interviews, online chat boards, etc)
• Developing screeners and moderator’s guides for research projects
• Hiring, scheduling, and managing a team of part-time Recruiters who in turn are responsible for soliciting focus group participants and hosting in-house research
• Physically managing the New York focus group facility – maintaining A/V equipment and overseeing the execution of groups which are typically held in the evenings
• Interfacing with clients and vendors on project details, pricing and logistics
• Maintaining and building a database of potential research respondents

• Strong organization, prioritization, and project management skills
• Ability to multitask across numerous projects at once efficiently and adapt to a constantly changing workload with exceptional attention to detail
• Strong written and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with particularly strong skills in Word and Excel
• Ability to interact effectively with numerous colleagues and clients on a day-to-day basis.

Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required. Masters degree a plus.

Reports to: Partner, Research

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
