Coordinator of Advertising Exchanges (Part-Time)
Coordinator of Advertising Exchanges will promote ATS activities with similar organizations by bartering for mutually beneficial promotional programs. The coordinator will build upon an established effort that already produces $200,000+ in free advertisements for the ATS. In addition to negotiating these exchanges, the coordinator will track production of the advertisements and provide administrative help in the Communications and Marketing Department.The Coordinator of Advertising Exchanges will:• Renew existing and add new advertising exchanges with medical journals and periodicals by contacting these publications by email and phone, negotiating terms and drafting letters of agreement. Will also work to increase informal calendar listing exchanges that promote the ATS International Conference• Coordinate production of ATS print and electronic ads going to these publications and will track external partners’ submission of ads to ensure that they meet ATS production deadlines.• Serve as administrative assistant to the Communications and Marketing Department, processing bills for payments, tracking print and electronic communications projects, keeping online calendar of educational programs up to date, and coordinating other assignments as requested. The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:• An associate’s degree is required and two years’ office experience. • Must be organized, friendly but persistent, and helpful. • Must possess the ability to write clear and concise business communications and communicate effectively by phone.• Must use Microsoft Word and be willing to learn to use database software.
