Responsibilities
Description: The Editorial Manager will be part of the team that develops and produces content for sponsored Business Day segments, sponsored CNBC.com special reports, event coverage, and other strategic editorial initiatives. He or she will report to the Editorial Director of Strategic Content and News Partnerships and work closely with on-air producers, digital producers and reporters, and various other departments including Ad Sales and Ad Sales Marketing, to assist with multiplatform ideation and production of strategic content that fulfills CNBC’s core editorial mandate while supporting the commercial objectives of the organization.

Responsibilities:
? Developing and packaging custom editorial concepts for advertisers across platforms while adhering to strict editorial guidelines
? Aligning existing editorial franchises with monetization opportunities.
? Creating editorial franchises for key advertiser content areas of interest.
? Maintaining cross-platform editorial calendar of sponsored content and content available for sponsorship.
? Collaborating with multiple departments including show teams, news desks, Ad-Sales, and Ad-Sales Marketing.
? Researching high-priority editorial themes.
? Reviewing and editing story pitches, television scripts, and digital special reports.
? Coordinating with newsdesks across platforms.
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications:

? 1-3 years of experience at a major network or media outlet.
? Strong interest in and knowledge of key issues in business, markets, and economics.
? Knowledge of content monetization and emerging media platforms.
? Familiarity with advertising sales and/or marketing.
? Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
