The Mid Market Search Account Management Team is responsible for over $1B of annual revenue from some of Yahoo!’s most valuable search clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage a book of business consisting of up to 200+ Direct clients.
• Analyze data and insights to aggressively drive revenue for the entire book.
• Work closely with several internal partner teams to ensure that the clients are taken care of in an efficient and effective manner.
• Have a deep understanding and ability to analyze client ROI / CPA goals and data, media buying cycles, Web site architecture, product / service update schedules, marketing philosophy, target demographics, etc.
• Understand how Yahoo! Search products will assist accounts in reaching their marketing goals.
• Proactively create strategic recommendations and implement solutions for top clients.
• Optimize marketing campaigns by analyzing performance data and recommending adjustments to key performance drivers
• Work with the internal Editorial team on keyword expands, improved titles and descriptions, additional Match Types and enhanced bidding strategy
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of all internal systems to respond to general and specialized client requests; including billing inquiries, click activity inquiries, bidding requests, relevancy issues, etc.
• Maintain and update proficiencies in the search marketing space.
• Responsible for special projects as assigned
• Travel up to 30%, travel includes internal meetings, industry events and agency meetings and entertainment events

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• BA Required
• 2-3 years of telesales / client service experience with a preferred minimum of 12 – 18 months of junior account management (or similar) experience
• Ability to independently identify, analyze and resolve customer and business related trends effectively
• Ability to deal effectively with internal and external customers
• Ability to develop client relationships
• Ability to cross-sell and up-sell search and/or display (and related) products
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Intermediate level of experience responding appropriately to issues, problems and concerns via telephone and email
• Intermediate level of experience with in person and over the phone presentations
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word & creating presentations (Powerpoint)

Preferable Job Qualifications:

• Well developed customer satisfaction skills with an ability to enhance relationships via phone and email.
• Advanced ability to analyze data and produce real insights that drive customer engagement and spend.
• Advanced Prioritization skills and the ability to leverage data as part of the prioritization strategy.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication with a focus on revenue driving activities.
• A bachelor's degree in business or a related field
• 2 or more years total individual sales experience; advertising sales experience preferred
• Professional demeanor and polished business etiquette
• Passion for marketing and the Internet
