The Role
The Account Director will play a key role on our Professional Services team, which delivers best-in-class services for our most strategic advertisers and agency holding companies. This team specializes in high growth and constant innovation – driving advancements in measurement, data strategy, audience planning and insights, and buying models. We are a buyer’s trusted advisors and evangelists as the paradigm of audience and programmatic buying touches more brands.

The Account Director will be a client’s primary relationship manager. The ideal candidate will have an advertising technology background, leveraging this expertise as a strategic consultant who helps bridge the gap between business and technology. Through a deep understanding of our clients’ business models, the Account Director will be responsible for partnering with clients to transform their business through data and technology.

Job Responsibilities
• Engage with the leadership of agency holding companies and major advertisers
• Provide highly proactive client management by:
o Demonstrating thought leadership
o Educating and selling the long-term vision
o Providing strategic direction internally and externally
o Managing change within complex organizations
o Asserting a point of view through your understanding of the ins and outs of our platform, new capabilities, and players in the evolving ecosystem
• Develop solutions through deep product expertise and facility with relationships and process.
• Ensure contract renewals by identifying and executing upsell opportunities
• Raise the level of the entire team by providing ongoing guidance and sharing knowledge. Provide stability and mentorship to junior members of the team.

Qualifications
• BS, BA or MS
• Must have proactive, entrepreneurial spirit; comfortable in fluid environments
• Demonstrated client management and consultative selling skills around technology (i.e. comfortable conducting a product demonstration while pitching a new capability)
• Ability to interact at all levels of management, including the executive level
• Analytical skills, preferably experience in media buying and optimization
• Minimum 2 years in advertising technology or digital ad operations, and minimum 3 years in relationship management
