This individual will help drive our exciting ecommerce business, working with a high energy, fast moving and innovative team that adapts to the trends of the wedding industry. Generating over 20 million per year in revenue, ecommerce is responsible for fulfilling the needs of brides-providing products such as; wedding favors, gifts, and accessories for their special day. The ideal candidate will be an extremely creative, organized, detail-obsessed, self-starter with a passion for merchandise and product development. Responsibilities-Responsible for product development and buying, sourcing new items and categories.-In collaboration with Design, develop key concepts, key items and exclusive store assortments that reflect our brands.-Shop market for new items to ensure that we reach and exceed sales and margin plan.-Consistently improve product mix by building on past success and adding new items to the line while increasing revenue and item profitability.-Execute on-going competitive analysis, identify emerging trends and recommend strategies and tactics to improve assortment and maximize future business opportunities.-Responsible for the full lifecycle of website products and product promotions.-Analyzes sales trends, vendor profitability and aged inventory and make recommendations for driving improved performance.-Implement clearance strategies.-Ensure e-commerce is visually merchandised and presented to achieve brand standards.-Maintain routine timelines for product and content rotation.-Develop promotional strategies, creating and managing monthly promotional calendar.-Determine pricing and execute markdowns while preserving margin.-Work with the analysts to measure the effectiveness of promotions and marketing campaigns to evaluate and improve future performance.Qualifications:-Bachelor degree.-5+ year experience buying, product development and merchandise management.-Sophisticated design sense with ability to translate the style of our brands into new exclusive products.-Highly organized and detail oriented with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.-Proficient in web business-related software: Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, Google Analytics.-Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate analytic data into strategic ideas.-Must be able to multi-task, be flexible, perform in fast-paced environment and maintain focus while anticipating and reacting to shifting priorities and changes in business.XO Group Inc. complies with all federal, state, and municipal laws that prohibit discrimination because of age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.Thank you for your interest in this position and our company.
