Senior Community Manager, Publishing, Education & Multimedia

Global Leadership Fellow

The Media, Entertainment & Information (MEI) Industry team at the World Economic Forum manages the relationships with the largest global media players and identifies newcomers in the digital media landscape. The team is in charge of setting the industry agenda and identifing the common challenges and interests of a diverse group of players.

You will establish, manage and develop relationships with existing Member and Partner companies within the Media, Entertainment & Information Industry group. This includes developing expertise to create meaningful content for our Members and Partners, coordinating potential projects and initiatives, and organizing meetings, roundtables and other relevant events.

You will act as the primary interface between our organization and key media sector contacts, including chief executive officers, corporate senior executives and subject matter experts to coordinate their engagement in Forum events, projects and initiatives.

You will lead the engagement effort with publishing, education and multimedia companies, provide support and membership services to this community and serve as a resource to colleagues across the World Economic Forum on the education sector and related issues.

You have five or more years of experience in relationship management, sales and/or marketing and have demonstrated leadership capabilities. Experience in publishing, educational publishing or educational technology industry is a must. Experience and knowledge in emerging markets is a strong plus. You possess a broad intellectual background and have a Master’s degree in business, economics or international relations.

You must be proactive and have outstanding communication and presentation skills. You are a team player who enjoys working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. Strong command of English is required, with fluency in an additional language preferred.

You will join the Forum as part of our Global Leadership Fellows Programme ( As such, you would be fully integrated in the World Economic Forum and benefit from an intensive work and learning experience intended to develop and train future leaders of global enterprises and international organizations.
