The Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) has an immediate opening for a full-time Marketing Manager in the Department of Communications. The Marketing Manager reports to the Vice President of Communications and will be responsible for developing branding and marketing materials. The Manager will be responsible for managing the production of BPC public documents; ensuring consistency across the organization's brand; and promoting BPC to development, stakeholder and Hill audiences.

The Manager acts as the primary liaison with each BPC Project and Functional Department guiding and overseeing the final stages of document production. The Manager will advise Projects and Departments on timing, design, messaging, as well as work with outside vendors to ensure completion of final product. Working with the Vice President of Communications, the Manager is responsible for the creative design, content and timely production of BPC's annual report.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES

The specific duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:

* Oversee and manage production of BPC's public documents (including reports, white papers, brochures, programs, one-pagers, e-Newsletters and online materials) on deadline

* Oversee and manage design and production of BPC's annual report on deadline

* Work with copyeditor, designer and printer to produce materials and ensure consistent application of brand standards

* Support Communication Department's role in development of BPC's annual workplan

* Develop creative marketing materials and advertising for tv, print and online

* Develop strategies to promote BPC's brand through messaging and positioning to target audiences

* Directly interface with projects and the development and legislative teams to provide strategic PR advice and support

* Develop and edit design templates and invitations

QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree
* 3-5 years experience
* Strong writing, editing and design skills
* Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
* Must be able to manage multiple tasks; communicate effectively; work with little direct supervision; and work in a team environment
