Your tasks
The Random House?s Digital Publishing Group is seeking a Social Media Marketing Manager to join their team. This position will play an active role in the development and execution of innovative social media marketing strategies, based on inputs from clients, social media monitoring tools, website metrices, competitive analysis, and secondary research.

Responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
?Partnering with internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Sales, and Editorial to understand their unique goals, objectives and challenges and ensure alignment with the social strategy.
?Maintain awareness of new social media marketing techniques being used by others, as well as look for opportunities to innovate and develop completely new techniques and share with the team.
?Work closely with client and internal teams to execute social media engagements for clients, including serving as a community/forums manager for clients' social spaces (e.g., Facebook pages, Twitter feeds).
?Track success of social media marketing programs.
?Create and distribute weekly reports for all existing social sites, using web analytics tools (Omniture, Google analytics) to inform organic promotional development and user segmentation.

And will assist in additional and other online marketing efforts and reporting.

Our requirements
Essential Abilities & Functions:
?3-5 years experience in related field (e.g., interactive agency, marketing, advertising, market research, public relations)
?Expert knowledge of popular social media networks including Facebook, Twitter, Google +, Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn, and community-based forums.
?Familiarity with social media monitoring tools like Radian 6, Buddy Media, Hootsuite and Pinfluencer.
?Familiarity with website metrics tools like Google Analytics and Adobe SiteCatalyst (Omniture).
?Familiarity with common CMS systems like WordPress.
?Has established methods to grow following and engagement, both paid and organic.
?Basic understanding of SEO and SEM a plus
?Intermediate knowledge of HTML and CSS.
?Possesses excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
?Is analytically strong with proven ability to demonstrate data interpretation capabilities
