Currently, we are seeking a Communications Assistant Manager to join our exceptional team. In this position, you will serve as a writer, editor and production supervisor for our internal and external communications initiatives. Responsibilities include supporting the development and implementation of communications plans (across all media); developing content for print and interactive communications such as brochures, newsletters, websites and e-screens; writing and editing speeches, talking points and presentations; coordinating the production of our bi-weekly print/digital internal news vehicle; participating in the implementation of Montefiores social media strategy; maintaining an editorial calendar; and continuously evaluating and improving work processes.
To qualify, you must have strong communication, organizational, project management, writing and editing skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is also required. Preferred candidates have experience with graphic design/multimedia programs, a basic understanding of HTML, and demonstrated knowledge of social media best practices.
