Main Function: Frontline Medical Communications, among the largest medical communications companies in the US, is seeking a highly motivated, highly skilled new or recent college grad to join its editorial team as a Web Editor. This junior/entry-level position will be responsible for optimizing content from 80+ editors for distribution on the Clinician Reviews Web site, e-newsletters, and social media.

Standards of the Position
•Collaborate with print and online staff to determine content development tied to the brand editorial, including multimedia, as well as ideas for repurposing content as digital products.

•Write submissions to meet formatting, layout, design, and specification requirements; provide advice and counsel on e-mail best practices and technical matters.

•Stay abreast of current industry standards and techniques to ensure delivery of effective content that achieves the organization's goals.

•Utilize measurement tools and computer software to track open and delivery rates, analyze metrics, create e-mail campaigns.

•Work with web designer to create visually appealing e-mail templates, effective landing pages, and other online messaging for various audiences.

•Coordinate schedules with internal and external content and development teams.

Qualifications
•College degree required.

•Experience writing and editing for digital publishing--including content development, website development, and constituent engagement—preferred, but willing to train someone who is Internet and social media savvy.

•Familiarity with search engine optimization strategies, HTML, Content Management System, e-mail performance metrics, and project management fundamentals is a plus, but not required.

•Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

•Meticulous eye for detail, accuracy; correct spelling and grammar in all work functions.

•Excellent organization and time-management skills to meet tight deadlines, with the ability to be a team player while still working autonomously


•Flexible; demonstrates enthusiasm toward colleagues and clients.
