The Content Coordinator is responsible for the editorial and production activities surrounding Advertising Week printed and digital publications, including but not limited to the Advertising Week Official Guide (approximately 250 pages). This position will report to the Operations Director on overall timeline, deliverables and approvals, but will work closely with the design/creative department to manage the detailed timeline of publications production, determine layout for publications and ensure all graphic/text deliverables are met. The Content Coordinator will also work with all organizational departments to copy edit and fact-check other materials such as: newsletters, press releases, print/digital ads, screen cards, signage etc. for a consistent editorial style.

•Create pagination and production schedule for the Advertising Week Official Guide and enforce production schedules by liaising with all departments on deliverables
•Work closely with the graphic design team on layout, pagination and pre-production for all publications and website
•Responsible to regular website updates
•Responsible for copy editing and proofing all text in digital and print publications for style, consistency, fact-checking, sponsor and marketing needs
•Track status of each section of the publications and manage the approvals vis-a-vis the text, photo and logo materials
•Assist departments in copy editing and fact-checking other event materials, such as newsletters, press releases, print/digital ads, screen cards and signage to maintain editorial consistency across the board
•Work with the Operations Director to route proofs through department heads for approval and double-checking
•Liaise with partners to collect logos, images, and text for web and print materials
•Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of all publication materials

Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate must be able to manage and meet tight deadlines under pressure with the ability to respond to fast-changing priorities and deadlines. Those candidates with experience in event/festival publications will be highly considered.

•2 years experience in a professional editorial environment, experience as a writer/editor or project manager preferred
•Broad knowledge of the advertising and media industry
•Prior work experience on projects similar in scope and size to the Official Guide and Websites
•Proven exceptional writing and editing skills

•Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
•Working knowledge of online content management systems
•Database savvy
