Luxury Daily, the world's leading luxury marketing and retail publication, is looking for a full-time editorial assistant. The individual is expected to write and edit for Luxury Daily's daily newsletters and Web site, travel to trade shows and conferences, host webinars, produce and post videos, write special reports and white papers, meet with industry executives, update social media accounts daily and undertake speaking or panel moderating engagements. Individual initiative and idea-generation are expected. Knowledge of luxury, marketing, advertising and media is ideal. Candidates must also be proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe PhotoShop and InDesign. Recent college graduates are welcome to apply, as are individuals with one to two years' experience. The editorial assistant is expected to produce and edit copy under tight deadlines, follow ethical practices and be comfortable with content management systems for article and image postings as well as newsletter deployment and social media updates.The candidate must be a team player and be able to work under pressure.
