We are a growth business seeking a high-energy sales development professional that knows how to work with reps and clients to build and execute successful ad programs. You would be part of a three person Sales Development team supporting reps in various regions of the country, and reporting to the VP, Marketing and Ad Operations.

Responsibilities:
*Working with our sales representatives, clients and other marketing staff to generate compelling custom ad programs that sell through.
*Creating RFP specific proposals, including "big ideas", with mock-ups, clear and exciting language and mocked-up visuals (working with our staff designer).
*Successfully executing and project-managing programs post-sale, from timelines to program reporting.
*Work with staff designer to design/develop custom creative units, custom destinations, mailings and more.
*Developing and managing new ad placements, opportunities and programs.
*Creating collateral sales materials, including core and vertical pitches, client specific decks, research presentations, and more.
*Conducting research analysis using our syndicated and other research tools; developing and managing original surveys.
*Working closely and building relationships with other groups within the company including editorial, tech/development, and finance.
*Pricing opportunities, programs and packages in concert with reps and management.

Desired Skills and Experience:
*2+ years of experience
*Creativity - the ability to understand clients needs and translate those into compelling ideas that meet their needs.
*Writing - presentations are our life blood. It's how we communicate with agencies and clients. The ability to write concise, punchy and compelling headlines, program descriptions and structured presentations is highly valued.
*Communication - you will need strong interpersonal skills to build cross-departmental relationships to make your program ideas a reality. In addition, you will have significant client and agency contact and need to be able to manage and maintain those at a highly professional level.
*Research - familiarity and experience with syndicated research, such as ComScore, web analytics, such as Omniture and direct surveys.
*Microsoft Office Suite: PPT, Excel, Word
