The marketing manager/coordinator will be responsible for marketing efforts that support the Billboard brand and the Billboard sales team.

Reporting to the director of marketing, the marketing manager/coordinator will play a critical role in developing marketing ideas and creating materials/presentations for Billboards online, print and event properties as well as managing relationships with and executing programs for major sponsors.

Responsibilities Include:

Lead the RFP process to drive ad revenue for, Billboard magazine,, Billboard events and other Billboard brand extensions

Work with talent on sponsored programs and events (secure, negotiate, coordinate production)

Be a liaison between internal group and Billboard's PR team

Develop marketing programs, materials and presentations for the Billboard sales team to help build and maintain Billboards client roster

Work with Billboards partners, sponsors and licensees to make sure that their marketing/PR goals are met

Manage Billboard's barter agreements with large trade shows, industry associations and charitable foundations

Please note:

Required Skills:

Working knowledge of digital marketing (including social marketing) and advertising
Ability to come up with big, creative ideas based on client needs
Strong sense of how to translate marketing goals into product solutions
Excellent writing skills
Ability to work well under tight deadlines

Desired Experience:

A minimum of 1-3 years experience at a media, publishing or marketing company, or a creative agency
Direct experience with digital marketing and advertising
Previous experience working with ad sales teams
Experience with consumer marketing and branding
Some exposure to the entertainment industry and experience with executing and marketing consumer events preferred, but not required
