Marketing Director – Digital Marketing Solutions
The Marketing Director - Digital Marketing Solutions is responsible for managing client relationships for HNW's enterprise-level clients who utilize our eSuite software solution, as well as content strategy and content development agency services. This individual will lead key accounts in both service delivery and business development of our solutions. Initial clients will include financial services firms marketing investment solutions through large distributed salesforces. As the key point person on the accounts, this individual will be responsible for understanding client needs, proposing client solutions leveraging HNW's SaaS-based software and agency services, and managing ongoing account relationships. Key is the ability to have deep discussions with clients about how they are leveraging the software platform, forward-looking client requirements, and plans for deployment and growth. Concurrently this individual will be speaking with clients about content strategy and content development services for such deliverables as microsites, emails, white papers, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, etc. The individual who will be successful in this role is perceived as a credible marketing expert who knows how to leverage various forms of marketing technology to deliver solutions for our clients.RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):* Demonstrates range of "critical" thinking and decision making skills that shows business and industry knowledge - identifying key elements of an issue, POVs relative to a strategic or creative initiative* Understands the essential dynamics, strategies and drivers of their clients' business and industry to generate new ideas, enhance client performance and/or develop strategies to help them grow the business* Accountable for orchestrating the resources of HNW to ensure that client needs are met on both our software platform and in delivery of our more traditional marketing communications like collateral, microsite builds, pitch books, etc. that support sales force needs. This includes securing client requirements for custom software development and program expansion, managing delivery of agency services, escalating issues, and matrix managing all key support functions. * Takes accountability for account performance, quality of work and efficient delivery of solutions* Leverages expertise in B2B and/or consumer marketing to provide innovative, creative and effective marketing strategic and tactical insights for clients* Demonstrates role as a trusted advisor by building credibility and maintaining key client relationships that can lead to client referrals * Acts as a resource to HNW team members in assessing ideas and project direction* Presents original ideas and provides oversight from development to presentation to execution* Works closely with Group Director to develop annual plans that include client development plans and forecasts* Helps manage and monitor client budgets and HNW profitability against target goals (P&L)* Develops proposals and SOWs for client projects that balance expectations of both client and HNW* Provides effective supervision of HNW resources to insure projects are delivered as promised - on time, on budget, meeting marketing or business objectives * Ensures key HNW team members are aware of key events related to clients' business, and that key client partners are aware of relevant updates to HNW (e.g. capabilities, team changes)* Partners with Group Director, Client Services to ensure that plans are in place to achieve financial goals of the business for assigned client(s).Team Leader* Maintains positive relationship between HNW and clien* Effectively plans and organizes own work as well as work of their team - assigns, delegates, coordinates, and monitors the work of staff and team assigned to client projects* Actively serves as a mentor to team members and establishes career objectives for junior team members (coach and develop skills needed for advancement) * Helps integrate junior marketing team members, educates them on clients and capabilities and positions them for successQUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in a related field required; MBA a plus * 8+ years marketing experience* 5+ years of marketing technology account management or digital/interactive agency experience required* Knowledge and experience in multiple channels in the following areas preferred: email marketing, search, social media, mobile, analytics* Experience working with digital marketing solutions for enterprise level clients is required* Experience working with Enterprise SaaS (software as a service) marketing solutions highly preferred * Past employment with companies that specialize in marketing automation solutions, email platforms is ideal (e.g. CheetahMail, Marketo, Eloqua, HubSpot) * Experience with salesforce.com or other CRM preferred * Strong marketing fundamentals and ability to effectively evaluate design and user experience required * Experience working within and knowledge of the financial services industry from the vendor/agency side highly desired * Proven ability to facilitate and direct teams in developing successful cross channel communication strategies and marketing plans required* Solid project management, team leadership and decision making skills required* Strong analytical mindset, ability to quickly identify and articulate the components of a complex project or issue * Ability to recognize and anticipate impact of specific actions on overall project or client relationship * Ability to think strategically and synthesize disparate information to recognize trends, add value to client partners and drive account planning process * Aptitude and interest in pursuing business development/upselling is needed * Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project * Ability to effectively multi-task within a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment* Outstanding written and verbal communication skillsTo apply, please send resume, and salary requirements to firstname.lastname@example.org.
