Primary Function:
Provide daily oversight of team of Media Technicians, Engineers, and broadcast personnel for a high-end conferencing and broadcast environment. Ensure that the overall functions of the team office are running smoothly, provide assistance to the team by organizing and responding to service requests and manage AV and media assets.



Duties & Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day operational management of team of Help Desk and Media Systems Technicians
Fill in for the Contract Manager in his or her absence
Responsible for monitoring status and quality of workflow
Responsible for proper staffing and assignments of work
Responsible for monitoring the staff’s fast and accurate responses to client requests; ensuring the staff meets high standards of customer service
Responsible for monitoring time and attendance in projects similar to nature
Proactively generate relationships with other vendors, clients and staff
Responsible for tracking/monitoring of employee and independent contractor utilization
Responsible for generating various reports for client, including accounting and budgeting reporting
Responsible for timely employee performance reviews and feedback
Work closely with Contract Manager, client and the corporate home office team to ensure contract obligations are met
Preform other duties as assigned.


Requirements

Ability to thrive in a multicultural and multilingual environment; Candidate must be capable of managing in a diverse workforce environment.
Ability to read, speak and effectively communicate in English; Bilingual in other languages preferred.
Be well organized and capable of handling multiple assignments; willingness to be cross trained in multiple positions with a proactive attitude to jump in where help is needed
Must have a demonstrated commitment to customer service
Superior knowledge of current industry practices, standards and procedures relevant to audio-visual & broadcast service
Demonstrate leadership capability and willingness to share knowledge and expertise with others
Ability to maintain high level of professionalism in a multicultural corporate environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ability to use standard office equipment
Experience working with time-keeping software, Kronos preferred
Candidate must be willing to undergo background check


Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Video Production or related field preferred; or equivalent experience in lieu of
Minimum 3+ years’ office management, administrative assistant or office Production Assistant experience; previous experience overseeing a team of technical & creative personnel preferred.
