The role is responsible for all strategic and tactical Marketing programs for all of Mergermarket Group's products, which include Mergermarket, Debtwire, Dealreporter, Xtract Research, PaRR, XportReporter, and several others.

The Marketing Manager will play a key leadership role in developing and implementing effective Marketing strategies to drive business growth for our existing and soon-to-be-launched products, meet company goals and raise the profile of the Mergermarket Group's products within the investment, advisory and corporate communities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong sense of initiative and motivation for creating projects and seeing them through to fruition


Responsibilities:
-Build the brands in the Americas across all mediums, working in tandem with sales, editorial and public relations
-Create and execute the Americas marketing plan
-Manage the marketing budget
-Drive the identification of new and opportunistic segments on which to focus our efforts to grow brand awareness and market share (social media, videos, associations, etc.)
-Negotiate marketing partnerships with relevant conferences in the Americas region to penetrate target markets and generate sales leads
-Organize and manage subscriber events in the Americas for all products, from venue selection to design of invitations through to attendance at the event
-Organize and manage sponsorships of trade events
-Support Sales and CRM in developing corporate and product literature
-Create appealing email campaigns, communicating winning marketing concepts through well written copy and html design
-Design creative and professional collateral (invitations, ads, web pages, brochures)
-Monitor marketing campaigns and collect metrics to calculate ROI and suggest continuous improvement
-Work closely with the other Marketing managers in London and Hong Kong to ensure integrated approach


Job requirements:
-Minimum 3 years experience in Marketing; B2B marketing experience and background in online marketing a plus
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing campaigns
-Ability to work under constant deadline pressure and manage multiple projects at one time
-Experience in developing and managing budgets
-Outstanding attention to detail
-Ability to work effectively as part of a global team whilst working independently and autonomously in the New York office
-Knowledge of design software (Photoshop, InDesign), html, e-mail programs and Google (Analytics, SEO, etc.) is a plus
-Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field preferred
