Responsibilities include:
•Craft industry-leading, integrated strategy for clients that include destinations, hotels, resorts, tour operators, and active lifestyle brands.
•Lead creative ideation among account teams; from brainstorms to field trips, this role is always looking to raise the bar and inspire innovative thinking
•Initiate, concept, and help execute original and unexpected collaborations; stay on top of industry trends and build partnerships
•Utilize travel media relationships to secure quality press coverage for clients
•Help train team members on critical skills, which includes strategic outreach and relationship building…as well as other relevant topics to keep us sharp
•Understand and prioritize the objectives of each client; anticipate needs in advance
•Participate in business development initiatives, including writing and presenting

Knowledge and Skills Required:
•Experience in the travel industry, in-house or agency. Wherever you are coming from, you have worked in, and managed, a team. Bonus points if you’ve managed remote workers and can brag on cross-country integration.
•Passion for the travel/tourism industry and the ability to spot trends. Want to impress us? Tell us what you think is the ‘Next Big Thing’ (and/or, what is so, totally, cliché this year)
•Established national travel and lifestyle media relationships, and the skill set to develop new relationships using traditional and digital tools
•Kick-ass strategic writing skills.
•Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
•Detail and results oriented; you have that rare combination of creativity and anal-retentiveness that makes for a great PR person
•Understands and uses social media on a regular basis; looks for ways to integrate social media efforts with other communication strategies
