The Director of Public Affairs will lead strategic partnerships to advance the company’s pro-social priorities including outreach strategy, grassroots mobilization and support for major company initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Seek out and develop a strategy to engage the non-profit, foundation and governmental organizations on the company’s major pro-social initiatives
• Craft, lead and implement strategies for strategic partnerships to bolster the pro-social reputation of the company
• Spearhead an event strategy that leads to high-profile visibility of the company and its pro-social initiatives
• Regularly Identify issues, trends and opportunities to connect with and engage the audience pro-socially
• Report into the Senior Vice President for Public Affairs on the outreach efforts of The Big Help, HALO and other opportunistic initiatives including making clear assignments
• Oversee the development of written and other marketing materials that describes the pro-social initiatives of the company
• Partner with other members of the public affairs team, and work together to execute against a singular pro-social activity or goal
• Represent the company and its pro-social initiatives at events, conferences, panels and other public events as required
• Provide regular reporting and presentations to the EVP, SVP and to other executives as necessary and as requested
• Manage the cross-company teams to implement pro-social strategies
• Manage the coordinator of Public Affairs, as well as interns.

Basic Qualifications:

• Proven leadership in managing external relationships with high-profile organizations
• Experience in pro-social and cause-related messaging
• Track record in working with athletic organizations
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Experience with public speaking
• College graduate
