Audience Development Marketing Specialist
The Chronicle of Higher Education seeks an Audience Development Marketing Specialist. The Audience Development Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the subscription and digital marketing efforts for The Chronicle’s Audience Development department. Primary responsibilities include executing marketing campaigns, managing digital editions and reporting and analysis of off- and online marketing programs.Principal Responsibilities:• Support subscription and webinar marketing efforts including assisting with direct mail, email campaigns, online promotions and tracking results. • Maintain digital delivery schedule including issue delivery and alert copy and distribute reporting on relative metrics, including usage, bounce and engagement.• Manage products in the Chronicle Store including coordination with the fulfillment bureau, uploading images and copy and tracking sales and marketing efforts.• Identify and assemble essential metrics needed to monitor online revenue, promotions, lead generation and lead nurturing and reader/visitor engagement. • Develop and maintain monthly and ad hoc reports on our key digital products that will allow us to track progress towards goals. Skills/Requirements:• A solid understanding of digital marketing, including email marketing and social media• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.• Excellent communication skills with a track record of working cross-functionally across departments.• Collaborative, flexible and collegial team player able to operate at all levels of the organization. • Consistently demonstrates a sense of urgency, reliability and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.• Proficiency with Eloqua is a plus.Education and Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or other related field of study; or a combination of relevant education and experience • 1-3 years working in digital and/or direct marketing How to Apply:Interested candidates should send a cover letter, resume, and salary requirements to firstname.lastname@example.org with “Audience Development Marketing Specialist” in the subject heading.
