Graphic Design Manager
Our client, an international restaurant chain with a focus on natural foods, is seeking a Graphic Design Manager who will be responsible for the company’s creative and design needs from conception to project completion. Responsibilities: -Lead design direction for marketing campaigns, window display, packaging, in-store signage and other store materials as needed. -Create a wide range of compelling communication media including, but not limited to: point of sale materials, property signage, promotional signage, email blasts, PowerPoint Presentations, advertisements and brochures. (Presentation design, icon development, design of vector graphics, and Photoshop work are needed on a regular basis.) -Design, resource and guide production for all new store openings and marketing campaigns. -Communicate and manage projects with freelancers and vendors -Keep a close eye on competitor activity and trends in the marketplace and feed this into the design process. -Research new graphics and print/production vendors for quality, service and price. - Maintain organized master filing systems of all campaigns, shops/floor plans and visual direction. -Provide design support to other departments (e.g. food, real estate, human resources, operations) to ensure all material are consistent and on brand. Qualifications-BA in graphic design or equivalent experience -5 years graphic design experience in a retail or food-related environment-Must be highly proficient in: InDesign, Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe CS2 or higher, Microsoft Office and Outlook. -Deadline-drive with strong attention to deal and the ablity to work independently and on mutual priorities at one time. -Must have an adaptable style, and the ability to produce work that is always in line with the brand. -Experience of developing packaging and overseeing print runs -Ability to travel to oversee packaging runs (approx. 25% of travel is required) Please submit a resume and portfolio with “Graphic Design Manager” in the subject line for consideration.
